Please Join Us In Our Efforts To Improve The Lives Of Hospitalized Ohio Children

Hope Heals is the 2023-24 societal marketing campaign created by the Beachwood High School Marketing/ Junior Achievement(JA) for their JA Company Program. The mission of Hope Heals is to inspire hope and brighten the lives of critically ill children across Northeast Ohio. The students will use a guerilla marketing teddy bear campaign to gain attention.

The Beachwood Marketing/Junior Achievement Program is made up of 38 high school seniors from ten local high schools participating in the Excel TECC Career Consortium. Each year, the students evaluate meaningful causes that are important to them. This year the students chose to focus on childhood illness.

"Hope" Medi Teddy IV Covers are were invented by a young girl who had to receive IV infusions for many years. She felt afraid of the medical equipment and bags of blood and medicine hanging around her and came up with a child-friendly way to reduce anxiety and promote healing during hospitalization.

"Hope" Medi Teddy IV Covers are a reusable medical accessory made from BPA/latex-free silicone and plastic. It is designed to attach to IV poles in pediatric rooms to hide the unsightly blood or medicine from the child and our group is working to provide Medi Teddy IV Covers to as many Ohio hospitals as we can reach.
